Introducing Nurse Jo!

Jo comes from a family of nurses with both her Mother and Grandmother having nursing backgrounds. With Jo’s inbuilt compassion and understanding, it is no wonder that Jo too was drawn to becoming a Nurse. She also has a big soft spot for our furry friends and says to be a wildlife carer would bring her as much happiness. Jo began her nursing career at Ipswich General Hospital, and after 19years moved to General Practice. General Practice has had Jo’s heart for the past 14 years.
Jo is a patient advocate. She likes connecting with patients, making a difference, and bridging the gap in their care. Jo has an interest in women’s health and a special interest in Vaccinations.
Fun Facts: Jo has made it her goal to learn drums in 2021 (I think she may be getting silencing pads for Christmas!)
Jo is a bit crazy – she once participated in a 900km bike ride, from Bundy to Brissy with two little children in tow!
If she could have any super power, Jo says she would love to be able to sing like Kate!
